Why you don't have energy?

We often feel lethargic, drained, and sluggish. Have you ever analyzed what could be the reason for it? Let's find out some common reasons here.

1. Lack of sleep: Our body needs a minimum of 8 hours of sleep. Long working hours, stress, and digital media reduce our quality of sleep making us feel exhausted and less energetic the next day.

2. Overweight: Being overweight increases the risk of a fatigued body. The body has to carry more weight leading to joint and muscle pain. It's difficult to do a simple activity like climbing stairs due to muscle weakness.

3. Coffee with sugar: We drink coffee in order to feel energetic and have more focus on work. It does give you a hike in energy but in long term will decrease your energy levels. Caffeine is a stimulant, and drinking it sends a message to the adrenal glands to produce the adrenaline and cortisol stress hormones.

4. Stress: In this busy competitive world it's very easy to get mental fatigue. Strong emotions like fear, frustration, anger, and anxiety lead to negative emotions and consume energy making you feel drained.

5. Frequent meals: It is said that eating smaller meals makes you boost your metabolism but at the same time body spends a huge amount of energy on digestion. This makes you feel lethargic

6. Junk food: They are high GI foods and hit the bloodstream too fast, giving a quick rise in blood sugar, then the levels drop and the energy levels come crashing down making us feel lightheaded, moody, irritable, and exhausted.
