How To Stop Over Eating




𝙃𝙊𝙒 𝙏𝙊 𝙎𝙏𝙊𝙋 𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙉𝙂:

A large number of people fail in achieving their fitness goals not because they are lazy or lack determination but because they lack control over excessive eating habits. When drastic diet plans are given, they fail to adhere to them getting completely demotivated and lost.

Here are some steps on how to stop overeating:

✅ 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚-𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙙:

Consume a whole nutritious meal that includes carbs, veggies, and a good amount of proteins and fats. As the thermic effect of protein is high, it takes longer time to digest keeping you full for a longer duration.

Make sure never to skip meals and choose healthier options in every meal.

Ghrelin is a hunger hormone secreted both while we are hungry and thirsty. Most of the time we assume thirst to be hunger and eat instead of drinking water. Frequent intake of water keeps you full and doesn't lead to overeating.

✅ 𝙀𝙖𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙮:

We eat food to get the energy to perform the activity. When energy released from food is unutilized it gets converted into fats and stored in the body. Earn your meal eat only when you are hungry and stop when you feel full.

✅ 𝙂𝙚𝙩 𝙧𝙞𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙙:

Do not store unhealthy snacks like chips, and biscuits and replace them with fruits and nuts. This will lead to healthier snacking options.

Salads get digested faster and make you feel hungry often. Combine it with a good protein source to fill your stomach

Excessive stress can trigger cortisol levels that in turn increase hunger and leads to overeating. Elevated cortisol levels lead to weight gain. Deal with stress by indulging in meditation, workouts, and music, and work on reducing your stress levels.
