REMEMBER TO CELEBRATE EVERY MILESTONE. AS YOU PREPARE FOR THE ROAD AHEAD.
You are none of these words, none of these insecurities: You are not your big thighs or your little frame or your stretch marks. We are always been taught to hide our imperfections. We buy things to hide our problems, shrink down or gloss up until we are those sparkling gems of perfection but do you think this makes us happy inside out?
These insecurities always make us feel low. I have clients who work hard towards achieving their fitness goals. They do reduce, and lose inches but still aren't happy, "my tummy is still there but thighs still need to reduce". Unless you appreciate and reward yourself for the progress you have made so far how will you be motivated to go further?
Learn to celebrate a small milestone, and create a roadmap for example with every 2 kg weight loss reward yourself with something. Let the sense of achievement, the compromise made, and the efforts put in be rectified and rewarded. Take a small victory lap that should motivate you enough to conquer further milestones. I know we have a set goal to achieve but the true spirit of achieving that goal can only come when you appreciate every step taken on the journey, not just the end results.
So just remember you are not your insecurities. You are so much greater than those. You are a wonderful sum of your mind and soul and heart and body and spirit all taken together into one strong, brave woman. Your life is worth celebrating, embrace it and fall in love with yourself again and again by appreciating every milestone and success.
So what milestone are you celebrating today?
