Don't Love Yourself Based On Number On A Scale




DON'T DETERMINE SELF-LOVE BASED ON NUMBERS ON A SCALE.

CHOOSE TO LOVE YOURSELF NOW, AND USE FITNESS AS A WAY OF EXPRESSING THAT LOVE.


I remember when I started my weight loss journey I use to hate my body and the way I appear. Self-hate and disgust made me compare myself with others who looked more beautiful than me in that curvaceous figure. I used to dream of being like them and hated my present condition even more. I always thought,


"If I lose weight and get that curvaceous figure I would be finally happy"


This self-hate, hiding from the world did motivate me to lose weight but the progress I made was never enough. Every time my goals were redefined, I was never satisfied with my achievements, and unfortunately no matter how much I progressed I never fell in love with myself.


Until one day a better realization shook me that no bodyweight, no waist size, and no curvaceous figure could ever make me happy. If I have to be happy, I need to choose to be Happy today accepting myself as I am complete.


Being Happy and having self-love is a choice I make today.


I realized the good news is I don't have to weigh X kg or have a supermodel figure to love myself. Self-acceptance was never easy but it wasn't difficult as well. I realized weight loss is temporary while the mindset was permanent.


The motivation to lose weight should never come from hatred but from the love, you have for yourself. Choose to love yourself now and use fitness as a way of expressing that love to yourself.
